This lively district covers some 150 hectares and extends the heart of the city to the place where two great rivers, the Rhône and Saône, meet. It is a fine example of contemporary town planning in which the environment is preserved. You can admire buildings designed by great architects, including Christian de Portzampac's Hotel de Region.
